Published since 1969 Maandblad de Krant (formerly ‘De Hollandse Krant’) is the only Dutch language magazine in North-America.
With readers in all US states and all Canadian provinces our contributors mirror that spread. Our focus is not on hard current news. We prefer to concentrate on background articles and news that is particularly surprising or may have been missed by the North American media.
But more even than news we like to bring ‘gezellig’ and informative articles from our North-American columnists. We feel very much at ease in our new (or not so new) homeland, but are also proud of our heritage. At least once a month, when de Krant arrives.
