Mama Panda and Cub

A 12" x 11" contemporary hot mosaic panel that combines fused glass with traditional mosaic techniques. The panda mother and baby plus the bamboo stalks are cut, assembled, and fused then attached to a Wedi board substrate. The design background is then filled in with irregular shaped pieces of glass. Sanded grout is applied to the panel to finish the mosaic sections of the panel. Kiln schedules are included for this fused glass project.
