Eagle and Flag 2

Volume 30 - Issue 2

A 39" x 29" stained glass panel featuring an eagle plus the red and white stripes of the American flag, American patriotic emblems. Careful glass selection brings depth and realism to the design, which is especially evident in the feathers of the eagle. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique. This article was originally published on page 22 in the Summer 2014 issue of Glass Patterns Quarterly. Design by Hiroyuki Kobayashi and Jeffrey Castaline, Text by Darlene Welch
