Mica Powder Fish Bowl

Volume 33 - Issue 2

An 11" fused and slumped clear glass bowl decorated with wave-shaped pieces of turquoise, sky, and sapphire blue glass. The fish and shell figures are added to the clear glass by applying high-temp glass enamels with a brayer inking roller. Once assembled, the project is tack fused then slumped to create the bowl shape. This article was originally published on page 64 in the Summer 2017 issue of Glass Patterns Quarterly.
