Dogwood Lantern

Volume 37 - Issue 2

A three-dimensional lantern created from interwoven strips of clear fusible glass and 1/4" clear thick bottom glass. The dogwood flower petals, centers, and leaves are cut from colored fusible glass, tack fused, and slumped into ceramic molds. Once the lantern is finished and fired, two dogwood flowers are glued to each side. Tack fusing and slumping schedules are provided.
