Surfing Mandala

Volume 38 - Issue 2

An 11-1/2"-diameter round stained glass panel featuring shapes that are reminiscent of surfboards against a background with the look of ocean waves. The wave wedges and surfboards are fused separately and wrapped in copper foil before soldering them together and adding the bright glass frame. A firing schedule is provided. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique. Article originally published on page 49 in the Summer 2022 issue of Glass Patterns Quarterly®.
