Sunflower Mosaic Birdbath

Volume 29 - Issue 1

A garden birdbath made from two terra cotta flower pots and a large terra cotta saucer as the base for applying a glass floral mosaic. The main sunflower petals and foliage are cut from glass, arranged on the surfaces, then glued to the pots and saucer. The remainder of the design is filled in with rectangular, square, and nipped glass before the sanded grout is applied to seal the project.
