Fused Iridescent Dragonfly

Volume 30 - Issue 1

Two different techniques for creating fused iridescent three-dimensional dragonflies. The wings can either be cut and ground, reassembled, and filled with frit, or the design can be painted in with Glassline paints to produce more subtle veining. A tack fuse firing schedule and instructions for assembling the wings and body are provided. This article was originally published on page 50 in the Spring 2014 issue of Glass Patterns Quarterly.
