Sweet Aster Garden Accents

Volume 31 - Issue 1

Three-dimensional sweet asters with copper stems. Narrow strips of glass are layered then fused to a central arrangement of green glass. The flower is slumped, and copper tube is added for the stem. A frit-decorated center piece covers the screw head where the stem is attached. This article was originally published on page 58 in the Spring 2015 issue of Glass Patterns Quarterly.
