The Flower of India

Volume 32 - Issue 1

A 9" x 11" stained glass round panel with freeform border featuring an East Indian woman holding a lotus blossom, the national flower of India. The woman’s arm extends past the bottom border giving the design a feeling of depth and realism. This project was constructed using the copper foil technique. This article was originally published on page 24 in the Spring 2016 issue of Glass Patterns Quarterly.
