Gooseneck Gourd

Kim Fields demonstrates the basic techniques needed for creating a gooseneck gourd. To begin, the stringers are prepared that will be used to add color and decoration to the basic form. Several different colors of speckles are added liberally to the green body before shaping the gourd. To finish, a stem is added before applying a bend to the gourd’s neck.
