The Vertebrae Bead

Winter 2020

Marcia Kmack demonstrates the creation of beads that resemble spinal vertebrae. Thin disks are added to a mandrel and used as the base for the bead. Tweezers are then used to push the edges of the disks together on both sides, the inside of the bead is shaped, and black stringer dots are added to finish the connection points.
