Milon Townsend demonstrates using dichroic squares and Cobalt Blue backing color with clear rods to create sparkling, colorful dichroic butterflies. The wings are cut from the squares instead of making them separately and adding them together. This technique makes it possible to create a much smaller, more well-proportioned body that lends a more authentic look to the finished piece.
