Sea Nettle Jellyfish

Joy Munshower demonstrates the construction of different canes, then a base bead is created to mimic ocean water. The glass bell of the jellyfish is applied first by using a base of white then covered with purple cane. A translucent layer is applied on the bell to give it a jelly-like look. The tentacles are applied in a wavy fashion, and dots are added around the base of the bell to complete the look. Article originally published on page 30 in the Summer 2021 issue of The Flow®.
