Bumple Glass

Volume 38 - Issue 1

An 8" round bowl made by firing glass on top of a steel screen. After thoroughly cleaning the screen, thick clear glass is cut to shape and fired to create the design bumps. Tips are offered for creating other shapes, controlling the height of the finished bumps, and reusing the screen for a multitude of projects. Firing schedules are also provided.
