PURL Magazine is made by people who love knitting and want to continue to learn and ask questions about the craft.

Each theme-driven issue is thoughtfully curated, beautifully photographed, smartly laid out, and absolutely bursting with information. Printed on sturdy archival paper, with a printed spine, and shipped in a recycled plastic wrap – you'll want to save every issue! Available in print (which includes digital for individual subscribers) and digital-only versions for 1 or 2 years.

Subscription timeline

The first issue of PURL will be released in August 2026 (Autumn issue). After that, the magazine will be published quarterly, in November (Winter), February (Spring), and May (Summer).

Digital issues

For individual subscribers:

Each print subscription comes with a personal digital copy of the issues in your subscription for you to enjoy when you're away from your print issues (or while you're waiting for the post office to deliver your gorgeous print copy).

For guild or library subscribers:

Guild/library subscriptions are available in print only and do not include the digital copy (as any digital copy cannot be accessed by multiple people). Thank you for understanding!
